Good News

The Good News or Gospel of Christ is that Jesus himself shed his blood to the death on the cross to absolutely secure the salvation of all who believe in Him. He won a place in heaven for all he has given the gift of faith to believe in him. They seek to obey him only to thank him and not with any hope of meriting heaven by their works. They know that heaven has already been won for them--Christ alone has fully accomplished their salvation by his death on the cross. They utterly reject the false gospel that claims Christ died only to give people the chance or possibility for salvation.
